Hello, you wonderful sailing Women! Just home from a great week at Cruiser’s University in Annapolis and made some new fantastic sailing women friends, and sailing little adorable girl, Julia!!!
Was thinking about ways I can help and thought of this particular boat that has been owned and sailed, single handed!!!, by a 4 ft 11 inch lady! I met this sailing woman at a boat show, helped her find the right boat, together we outfitted it, and then we discussed her many cruising passages that took her around South Florida.
Now it is time for her to move to another adventure, her lovely C & C 37 Plus is right here at my dock, and I now want to help her sell it.
This is the perfect boat for single handed, or double handed!!!, sailing woman or couple or family, especially in shallower waters like the Florida Keys and the magnificent Bahamas. DAKOTA is a centerboard sloop, aft cockpit, but with huge aft stateroom and forward stateroom with vanity sink, full shower stall, reverse cycle A/C and heat, new electronics, new windlass, new full set of awnings, etc. etc. She is fully outfitted to sail away immediately and she is a very fast and lively sailing boat besides being a marvelous home for a lady or a family.
I have put more information on DAKOTA below, and would like to help my dear friend to sell her to the next person who will adore her.
Let me know if you would like to see her, and we can have lunch together in Fort Lauderdale on my dock!!!
And a very special thank you to all the Cruising Women I met in Annapolis!
It was such a pleasure for me to be together with you.
- ConsultingThis is a love story. Andy had to sail around Cape Horn to find me. We both didn’t know it, of course, but I had been waiting for him. My name is Pam Wall. I have been married to Andy Wall for 28 years. We have sailed the seven seas together. Our story should interest anyone who has dreamed of sailing their own boat with their family. This love story will go on and on. I would like to share it; to inspire others to follow their dreams. Andy was born in Sydney, Australia. His parents knew he was meant for the sea. They helped him build his own thirty foot wooden sloop. And when he was just eighteen, he sailed from home. I knew he was looking for me, I just didn’t know who he was. It was many miles and many wonderful experiences that finally brought Andy to round Cape Horn. Young and full of adventure, Andy sailed his sloop, “Carronade”, straight from Tahiti to the Cape. Now, looking back on it, we both agree it was really a quest he had undertaken, and it was me he was seeking! The excitement and thrill of rounding Cape Horn…

- BioPam was brought up in a sailing family. Her young years were spent sailing on Lake Michigan with her Father. It was this up bringing on the water that gave Pam the desire to find an adventurous husband who would sail her around the world. Besides the studying at the University of Wisconsin, Pam was the president of the Hoofer’s Sailing Club for two years. Her years in college also gave her more opportunity for inland lake sailing on Lake Mendota. After four years in the snow of Wisconsin, Pam made a move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she “could sail year round” and live with palm trees! It was this move that gave Pam her opportunity to become part of the large and growing Marine Industry of Florida. Andy Wall, a young handsome sailor from Australia sailed into her life. Andy had built his own 30 foot sloop and had sailed it across the Pacific Ocean. He departed his home in Sydney, Australia and sailed his little sloop, CARRONADE, to the United States. From San Francisco he sailed to Tahiti and then the 4000 miles non stop to the tip of South America and rounded Cape Horn. Andy was…
